With regards to door to door sales
Discussion
I'm glad I opened up and gave the young man the time to explain the companies goods.
He had the idea of doing the door to door selling when he found out that the diary owner where he works had just been shafted again by a large supermarket chain. So off his own back he started to doorstep the local streets and turned up at mine at about 8.30 at night in the pissing down rain about a month ago.
Top lad for taking that approach and at least 8 of us down our close have signed up for milk/bread/butter/juice 3 deliveries a week.
The all important price is also in their favor too.

Fair dues for taking his own initiative. I still wouldn't buy from the front door, and we also use Ocado for all those things. Can't understand why you'd need 3 deliveries a week, the milk we get has a one week shelf-life. Juice & butter is even longer.
ETA - oh, and bread? We have a superb French deli a couple of miles away on the rare occasion we need bread.
