Just need some 19mm wall thickness / 65mm O/D pipe lagging to make the "cushions" and you have a 10 watch box for under £10.00.

I got two boxes today, one will house my burgeoning strap collection

Should I admit I've been looking for something like this, but actually for teabags ? Or should I keep my mouth shut ?

The others could.

Search for Lidl & look in kitchen essentials for the tea bag box.

I was about to say I've had this : http://www.thewatchforum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic... bookmarked for a while for when I need a watch box.

Then I noticed who started the thread smile

Here's & Q&D pic to show just how good they are for the money

Just to advise those that are interested 55mm O/D pipe lagging would be better than 65mm if you can get it - I've just cut down the 65mm stuff I bought.

Where did you get your pipe lagging from?

Great spot - think I'll drop in on the way home this evening. Conviniently B&Q is next door for the pipe lagging!

Great idea Andy but would think that the 65mm diameter with the flat surface cut on it would be better for stability?
Just need to find a local lidl now

I had cut my lagging into a D section - as above - can't shut the lid otherwise.

I'm such a thoughtful boyfriend. I bought two and "gave" one to be used as a jewellery box. I also "volunteered" to get her a few more for the rest of her jewellery.
