Has anyone here heard of them? I've been living in Indonesia for the last year and haven't been on a bike since I left the UK. And I'm getting restless biggrin

The main problem out here is using your own energy to move is a somewhat alien concept to most locals, so mountain bikes are very few and far between. However, Polygon seem to have a small presence and chatting with various people out here it seems these cycles are made here in Indonesia. Not sure what that means exactly; my Indonesian is not brilliant and most shopkeepers don't speak English. I suspect the frames are made in the usual places and the bikes are simply assembled here.

Anyway, they make a lot of cheap, crappy bikes for the mass market but I also notice they have some pretty decent specced bikes too; sporting XT and XTR groupsets, Fox forks and shocks etc.

I hope to pop back to the UK soon and will more than likely bring out my trusty GT with me. However, the possibility of buying something decent out here also appeals. I think the prices are about what you'd expect for the spec. For example this one:

Costs about $2400 US. Any thoughts?
