That looks great. I particularly like the 'Cote de Lapin' Richard Corrigan recipe.

I lived on game that I shot myself when I was a student.
Game Pie
Rabbit stew
Barbie rabbit (no ken required)
Rabbit curry
Rabbit burgers
Hardly fine dining though...
Always fancied this:

Fancy a change this weekend so I'm going to head down to the butcher and pick up a rabbit.
I'm toying with the idea of braising it in cider and serving it with either seasonal vegetables or a potato rosti or something.
Anyone got any other ideas?
That will work well, and as a suggestion why not try it with Yorkshire Puddings but put some sultanans in when mixing the batter. Rabbit and cider gravey with Sultana Yorkshire Puds...what a treat!I'm toying with the idea of braising it in cider and serving it with either seasonal vegetables or a potato rosti or something.

Rabbit curry is rather good, must be cooked long and slow otherwise bunny is a bit tough when fresh.
I love rabbit, it's hugely underrated and it's nice to see it becoming more popuklar on restaurant menus (although often at surprising prices!).
When I was a student (late 90's) I used to sell rabbits to a local butcher for 50p for beer money. 10 rabbits would pay for a few pints at the cost of 10 .22 rounds and a nice summer evening in the fields.
Dopn't get it often these days because my missus doens't like me killing wabbits. Wood pigeon and pheasant are fine though. And she doesn't mind me shooting crows "because they peck at baby lambs eyes" Bless her.
Anyone got any other ideas?
