C Class Recall?
Discussion
Its P159, for models C & E Class 204,207 and 212
Nothing Major but always best to get recalls done as soon as you can.
Description below.
In isolated cases on the above vehicles manufactured between the production period 01 June 2009 and 28 February 2010, the possibility exists that a power steering fluid leak may occur on the power steering pump in the area of the connection fitting of the power steering line. Any gradual fluid loss which may develop typically causes a noise in the power steering pump; however, it is not possible to ensure in each individual case that this noise can be heard while driving for a longer period without any major steering movement. Any leakage which may occur can lead to higher than normal steering forces being required, in particular during parking manoeuvres. However, steering ability of the vehicle is ensured at all times.
