Seem to be experiencing miss-firing or fuel starvation under hard accellerating ..... any ideas.

Car has just had 12000 mile service, and tune up

I use the expensive BP unleaded petrol in it.

Any ideas!!!!!... is this a common problem???????

I had a simla problem after my MOT.
The garage adjusted the mixture to pass emissions but once the engine was warm it seemed to miss. I returned to the garage and he sorted it .maybe worth a try.

Similar problem here which Joolz and I have failed to solve with the usual methods, (replace everything that could be electrically at fault, plugs, leads etc).

Gives me the excuse to do the Podie piggyback treatment.

Sympthoms I've been getting are just a slight hesitancy when applying the right foot and the engine is working hard. I can drive around the miss fire when being crafty with gears, but it is still there..

Only thing I've not looked at is the dreaded throttle pot. Planning to do that in the next day or so..
