Wheeler Dealers - Scooby episode
Discussion
I thought the point of Wheeler Dealers was to take "tired old classics and give them a new lease of life".
If so then I didn't see the point in the scooby episode. Sure, if they'd taken a really tired old classic shape and sorted out the mechanicals, suspension, interior and bodywork then great.
Last night was sort the clutch, then enhance the car needlessly with modifications (and this comes from someone who used to own a slightly modified scooby).
They should have started with a car that needed more work and sorted it but leave it standard.

Apart from replacing the clutch, which was needed as it was knackered, it was quite a boring episode.
I'm not sure but could they not have found an STi for around £4.5K to £5K and had more power as standard also with the wheels and brakes already fitted and just do cosmetic touches??? I may be wrong as it's a long time since I was involved with Impreza's.
