What is everyone doing for NYE? We went to the Corn Exchange in Leeds last year and will be doing the same again.

Piazza by Anthony put on a fantastic show last year and I'm sure it'll be the same!

ETA, I know I've fked the title up good and proper.

the mrs will be two weeks away from giving birth so she'll tire easily and we'll be on alert, so it's likely to be an evening in the sofa for us

Possibly the most over rated night ever! Dont know what its like in other parts of the country but here, nightclubs ramp the prices up x8 at least! Taxi's do likewise, so a fair night out on NYE costs a bomb!

House parties are much better!

That said, i'll probably have a few JD's and be in bed for 10pm! Boring i know!! hehe

Agree with JamesN above. We ve stayed in and watched Jules Holland the last couple of years and had better nights than most New Years Eves.

Exactly the same boat last NYE the little man was due to arrive 22nd december, decided not to show. Got told we were to go hospital at 8 am NYE, that fell through. Ended up going in new years day at 6pm to make an appearance at 11.40.

I,m thinking he will be having a few good NYE party's as a young adult.

Avoiding it... Can't abide New year and all the drinky bks, and ticketed nonsense. Saying that, I'll probably have a wee get together in my new gaff and get drunk in the garden! hehe

Hate it hate it hate it. Saying goodbye and good fking riddance to a st year. Looking forward to a new job, new house, new Mrs, new car, new shoulder and new friends in 2011, cos all of the above have crapped out on me in 2010. (my new on line virtual mates who I don't ever have to actually meet in the flesh aside of course)

Time of year when all the amateurs get pissed and ruin the pubs for the year round drinkers. This isn't a lifestyle for visitors, this is a calling... "p*ssheads - drinking matters"..... Or something.smile

Can't honestly say when last I did anything to see in the NY.
Can't even remember when last I was even awake for it.
Just another day as far as I'm concerned.

It's my sisters birthday and I'll be home this year so we are having a house party.

As above, I can't be arsed with the hassle of going out on NYE.
