Thats not quite the same though, its a number of lists on cars owned, not a list of all the models in one place.

Im not paying for the bandwidth either hehe

A good basis so you should not have deleted the supercharged S.

OK. I don't know the correct name for it but it was the S for the Italian market which produced the assymetric bonnet for the V8S.

what engine did the supercharged S have was it still a v6 or was it a 4 pot.

i remember the italians had a 2ltr tax bracket. that produced some oddities like a sleaved 2ltr v8, for rover.

That's the one. The reduced cap RV8 was supercharged.

think you need to add the production week number to the start /stop fields. My T350 was made in week 50 of 2002 dont know when in the year the 1st one rolled of the production line but I do know mine is one of the early cars.

If you have a 400 and 400hc Chim, I guess there should be a 500hc Chim and Griff?

That's an easy trap to fall into. The 400 and 400HC were different models, the differences posted a few times on here, eg double valve springs. There is no 500HC model of either car; all 500 cars were HC and so TVR say no need to label them that way but some owners wanted an HC badge...

The Tuscan came not only in the 4 litre model but also the 3.6 version. The Tuscan 2 was not only a coupe but also a convertible and your list should allow for such variations. Good luck!

Are the Wedge SX's allowed (engineered by Haughin's - a TVR dealer - and DPR)?

If so, add the 350SX and 400SX.

They weren't done in a shed - I think...

At least they were road tested in the car mags...and most still actually on the road, including yours. smile

I was told that the 500HC originally came about when TVR recieved a batch of 500 heads from Rover that were over machined giving 11:1 or 12:1 compression ratio and instead of returning them they got them at a discounted price and then sold them on to us punters as HC engines. but later carried on using the HC badges when they no longer had stock of these heads.?
