c 200 /C220

hello all.
Looking at possibly getting into a Merc C200 or C220 in the next few weeks.
the car has to be diesel and manual for maximum MPG.
But I can not find anyone anywhere that can give me rough figures on the MPG of these cars that are not printed by Merc.

We've got a 2003 C220 CDI Estate. Driving on a usual town/country A road mix for say 20 mins I get 45-48 MPG.
On a motorway at say 70-80 mph I'd get 50MPG but when I'm really trying like last week on a 3 hour journey I was getting 58 MPG.
