Not Wiki, but family friends. These 2 pit-pony mining lads changed our lives. They even taught Cavalry Officers how to attack German machinegun nests holding only a sabre aloft. Not many repeat students.

I'd be more impressed if they'd taught them how to do it twice.

'He, using the title Sir William Percy Honeywood Courtney, King of Jerusalem,[1] along with several of his followers, was killed in a confrontation with soldiers in Bossenden Wood, in what has sometimes been called the last battle to be fought on English soil.'

Not Wiki but another source - a bio of Lord Nuffield (William Morris)- see the pdf on his legacy for detail;

http://www.nuffieldfoundation.org/lord-nuffield

- sometimes credited with being the richest Briton, even one of the World's richest (having refused an offer from General Motors of £11 million in the 1920's) who gave away approx. £1 billion.

Now that's the way to do it.

Randomly looking at google maps. Noticed something called British Indian Ocean Territory in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Clicked on it to see that this tiny little circle of an island had an airport on it. Clicked on the photos and it appeared to be a military base. Which it is.

Ended up reading this

I found it interesting enough.

Excellent work.

This made me chortle - 'When he got out of the turret he glimpsed a number of men running to his right along the hedge, so he followed and jumped into a ditch where they were sheltering. They were the Tiger Royal’s crew; he gave them a hasty salute and ran the other way, by luck finding us.'

Not sure if serious?

Just seen this in the 'Walt Disney World' listing;

"As part of a competition run by Disney for 2010, Walt Disney World has an unofficial twinning (sister city) with Swindon, England, since 2009.[25][26] Rebecca Warren's submission to the competition granted Swindon to be the twin town of Walt Disney World, which is famous for its intersection with six roundabouts. Warren and the mayor of Swindon were invited to a "twinning" ceremony, where a plaque revealing the connection will be placed.[27]"

Who knew?

I have just learned something new in my mid 30's. I always thought it was pronounced "ye olde pub" back in the day. I've been doing it wrong all of my life! hehe
