Canon EOS60D and Sigma EF-530 DG ST compatabiltiy issues?
Discussion
Hi all,
I've recently upgraded from a 350D to a 60D and all is well, until I stuck my EF-530 DG ST flash on it.
If the head is set to bounce then the flash performs as normal. However, if it's in the locked horizontal position the zoom function in the head goes haywire - the motors pushes the head in/out, in/out constantly until I tilt the head up.
Any ideas? Could it be a problem with the camera that I need to get checked out or just a compatabiltiy issue? I don't think the flash gun is on the blink as it worked fine on the 350D. (Anything's possible though, I guess)
I will be nipping to try my flash on a friends 450D and 550D and his flash on my camera, but that won't be until the weekend.
Many thanks for your help?
Scott
