I picked up the ^ above book, all about a NZ fighter pilot - Evan 'Rosie' Mackie, anyone read it, any good?

Edit: Hold on a mo...are you being 'We ALL die in the end' sneaky here? If so you are quite correct, he has died, but....not during the war he didn't.

Yes very subtle...

Its actually a very good read so far, starting off as they invariably do with childhood background, and his subsequent enlistment to the RNZAF.

It's getting good now, Mackie is popping his combat cherry against swarms of 190's!

Nope, sons school jumble sale. I don't even think it has ever been read. Pages unmarked, spine still perfect, not been bent in anyway.

I did try haggling them down though, offering 40p...nope!
