i pad battery first charge.

i'd be grateful for any advice on optimising my i pad's battery. just got it so it's the first charge. any top tips?

Charging strategies arent as important for Lithium batteries, just charge it up fully and use it.
Most people here would have used it straight away while it was charging.

Just charge it and use it. Apple recommend a cycle every month, where you let it power down completely, then power up completely...

As said don't worry about doing anything specific, it really will not make a notable difference.

Yeah; it'll be fine. I just cracked on and got using mine. I do try to run it quite flat about once a month and so far the capacity's holding up to spec.
