Finally back on the road today!! Been down to New Romney with the gf. Took the scenic route down the A21, then A28. Great fun!! Top down all the way. Unfortunately the tempreature gauage has decided to get a mind of it's own and I have a lose tappet.

Anybody got any ideas of whether I have hydraulic tappets and where/how much a new sender unit will cost me?

Here are some Photos from my trip, incase any one is interested. Where we stopped for Ice Cream

And one Arty One.

Ps That's not me in the car.

So interested to read of your daily exploits. Have you ever thought of starting up a blog site?

Anyway, regarding tappets, there is no way to tell if they are hydraulic by just looking. They use the same heads and rocker gear. I understand that the 2.9 cars with catalysts had hydraulic tappets, and the non-cat cars didn't. Usually.
