Can any one recommend an inexpensive video camera for recording driving trips? Ideally something I can mount inside the windscreen or on the bonnet and with a remote mic input so I can put the mic near the exhaust to record the noise in sync with the video. I also need some software to edit the video and add music. Nothing too sophisticated, just some basic tools to produce a half decent result for posing on Utube and PH forums. Eg

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34Uw5-0T67s I took this using a mate’s Sony video camera and his son added the sound-track for me.

Also for my skiing holidays.

Many thanks in advance. Joe

Thanks Rob. The vio-pov was what I was thinking of but it's a bit beyond my budget. Will have a look at the other one though. Many thanks. Joe
