Right so there is a certain supermarket who say something along the lines of 'every little bit helps'.

A few months ago they started up the first drive through service in the country in Baldock.

Basically the theory is you go online and order your goods. Later that day you drive to the supermarket and literally all your gooda are ready without actually going in the store - just like a fast food drive-thru ecept for groceries. Sounds excellent as you can:

1) Avoid paying the the delivery charge,

2) Avoid going in the shop so you dont have to mingle with the great unwashed

3) Avoid having to park up only to come back to your car to see some fat overweight bint park 3 inches from your door resulting in little dents in your own car.

Everyday I pass this Baldock store on the way home to Cambridge so thought it would be ideal to use this service. It would save time money and effort.

I log on onto the website but cant seem to find how to order from there. I call up their helpline and they go onto say that sorry you cant use that service unless it falls under your local tescos and there is no where around it. I asked what if i make up an address in Baldock and use that. They said you can try but its illegal.

So why are Tescos restricting use of this service? Surely it's in their interest for as many people to use it as possible. It seems not....

Because it's a trial.
