Flash / html help

I'm making a website in HTML which will have a flash gallery/slideshow on the homepage. Obviously this wont work on iPhones, so I want to have one of the following automatically happen when non-flash users log on:

- a message appear that says download flash here
or
- is there a way of making it so that an HTML version of the gallery will appear in its place when iPhone users go to the homepage?
