Hoya Pro1 Digital Circ Polariser Problem

Quick question. My Hoya Pro1 PL-C filter seems to have loosened from its mounting ring. The glass filter will move on its own, even when holding the rotating bit still.

The only side effect seems to be an annoying rattle. It does not seem to effect the IQ even though you can see the edges of the filter when you hold it up to the light. Anyone know how to fix this? Do I just put up with the rattle or buy a new one?

Mine tghtened up slightly when turned inside the filter ring, it almost seemed to screw back in.
It was enough to stop the rattle anyway.

Thanks. I did that and must have screwed it the wrong way as it all came apart in my hands! I have just taken another look now and have fixed it. The glass part is kept in place by an inner ring that is threaded on the inside rim of the filter ring. So I did as you said and rotated the glass and the inner ring in the correct direction and it is now as good as new. Thanks
