Just wired the money today. Fred says he has to make sure all thr title is clear and since 9-11, he says it's a day down the Docks sorting out security and paperwork. However, he's already saved me $60 by getting a cheaper shipping quote of $820 through Willen...Wallen...Wull...that German named shipping company!
Luckily, I'm a patient person and it's not like I haven't got the Z28 to while away the miles.
I'll be looking out for that yellow ragtop at Billing. They're constructing a burnout pad there but aren't sure if it will be reday for this weekend. I won't be burning my tyres that's for sure!

Wayne, will it be in a container? I ask because way back in 1975 I was on a container ship which had 2 vettes strapped down to the rear deck. They weren't packaged and took a lot of salt and spray. I'm not sure if they had been protected with wax. It's worth enquiring about this if you don't already know. Maybe everything is crated nowadays.
Wallenius Lines ro-ro?
If it is, find out which boat your car is on, and then track it using this brilliant website!.

It updates every 8 hours so you can track where your car is and more importantly how long until you can get your hands on the keys!

The car arrives this Saturday, 12th June. Have spoken to the guy from Wallenius at Bristol and he's a top bloke. Says they pay all the customs duty and VAT on my behalf and I pay them, cash or draft. He only wanted the title and the bill of sale which should be arriving FedEx today and wasn't even that insistent on the F384. Even better, I think I'll have this car landed at under my £25k target budget which means more money to spend on "extras". I believe a little "Woo-hoo" is in order. Mind you, I still haven't seen it. LOL.
Mind you, I rang the local SVA centre to get a time estimate and I have to apply through Swansea which takes up to two weeks then their waiting list is 2-3 weeks. Thanks a pant-load, chet. Ah well, it gives me a bit longer to play with the wiring.

Just busy changing the rear lights to begin with. Nice of Ecklers not to send any orange bulbs with the lights!
