I am interested to know if anyone goes for an annual checkup at their doctors, being only 24 I have only ever been to the doctor when I am ill, but having not been to the doctor now for over 4 years, I am wondering if I should pay my local GP a visit and make sure everything is hunky dory.

My only complaint would be that I am finding myself tired a lot of the time, so I am not sure if I should really bother my GP or not.

I had a call from my surgery a couple of months back, inviting me for a checkup as they hadn't seen me for so long. I didn't really want to go, but the blood test proved I'm not trying nearly hard enough to pickle my liver biggrin

Try not being online at 02:11. biggrin

Are you getting 8 hours' sleep a day (give or take a bit)? Do you exercise? Do you eat healthily?

Ha, yeah I hadnt realised the time!

Yeah I get around 8 hours of sleep each day, usually go to bed at a sensible time. I exercise a little, probably not as much as I should most of my exercise is walking to and from uni and the occasional set of pressups.

I try to make sure I have 5 veg a day, and I seem to be doing pretty well with that, I usually have a vitamin tab each day as well just to keep me ticking over.

Do you eat enough carbohydrates, preferably whole grain eg brown bread, brown pasta?

Probably not to be honest, as a student, if it's 30p i'll have it.

Although I do get best of both bread!

Well, if it were me, that's what I'd look at (eating unprocessed foods and doing more exercise) however I wouldn't be taking advice from a stranger over the internet with no medical qualifications. hehe
