The gf recently has started to snore that bad I can't get to sleep.
I've had to result to such things as holding her nose and kicking her till she stops but this only ceases it for a few minutes.
these actions normally result in me receiving a swift hand to jaw moment.
Ive recorded her to show how bad it is she just claims it's no her. What actually works.

Usually made worse by sleeping on ones back, so to make her sleep on her stomach put something uncomfortable in the back of her knickers, like a couple of balls.

Buy some foam earplugs from Boots.

When my wife was pregnant, she made noises that no human should make.

The earplugs worked a treat.

How many packs did you have to buy to fill her mouth up?

Our lass used to do this, the reason she stopped is down to the fact that i told her if she didnt, i would shove her out the bed. She laughed, so, next time she snored, put my feet on her lower back, and shoved her out onto the floor. she doesnt do it now

Mine does this, always when she's alseep on her back. I just wake her and ask her to turn over.

Tried that she now sleeps next to the wall to avoid being rattled oot the bed in the middle of the night

Why not point out to her, that as she sleeps next to the wall, she cant get away if you decide to rattle her bones in the night, suggesting that might keep her awake to stop you doing that, and hey presto you can get some sleep

i was going to suggest the back door routine

This works.

Grab the pillow and pull it gently to tilt her head a small fraction. Works for me and she won't even know.

Go to sleep before she does!

Or you could as her to see an Ear/Nose/Throat doctor as its likley just a sinus (SP?) infrection.

Same problem here since moving to a new house in a more rural location. Haven't worked out the root cause but her taking an antihistamine (hayfever) tablet before bed stops her snoring.

I move to the spare room. If we have guests in there I pitch up on my son's lower bunk.

If I do stop her snoring, it's only temporary - so I'll just get woken up again.

She just kicks me and I turn over, I don't believe there is a cure tbh

But how comfortable are those? Can't imagine sleeping with ears full of something
