I'm looking for a part time job within 20 miles of Truro, needs to be flexible to fit in with my studying. Tried Sainsburys and Tesco. Does anyone have any ideas of places I could try, or any good websites to look on?

Thanks, Lucie.

Wrong time of year at the moment, but, once the holiday season starts, caravan parks are always looking for cleaners to rush round on Saturdays (usually) between one lot of occupants leaving and the next arriving. It's not glamorous but is predictable and shouldn't interfere with lectures. Bear in mind that as well as the parks' own caravans there are often also privately-owned ones on the same site whose owners rent them out - you may find that making private arrangements with a few of these independent owners more favourable than being part of a park's staff.

I saw you with a goat on another thread! Google Flambards, they might have something, despite the time of year. smile

Bar work is your way forward this time of year or seasonal shop/cleaning work in a few months' time.

I'd go for bar work (maybe waitressing?) , normally have to work a weekend night regularly but that shouldn't interrupt your study too much.

Have you considered temping? You get to enjoy a bit of variety and the rate of pay tends to be better than shelf-stacking and bar work.

There could be some split shift call centre work going in Falmouth shortly (current hours 12-8pm but may offer 2 shifts 12-4 & 4-8).

They are recruiting through agencies, might be worth registering with a couple - as long as the owner of one of the agencies hasn't spotted your post with her car in the dodgy reg plates thread.

Oops haha hehe

Thanks for the comments everyone. Looks like I might have to do some bar work. What does temping involve?

I know what temping 'is' but I don't know much about it. Are you under obligation to take a particular 'job'? Will there be much evening/weekend work?

Unfortunately I only have experience in care, waitressing/bar and hotel housekeeping. But I'm a quick learner smile I'm only after a few shifts per week in order to help me get by while studying.
