Does anybody have or can anyone suggest where I can source in the UK the "special" tool required to "quick" release the hydraulics connector to the clutch. I am changing the flywheel / clutch and the transmission cannot be removed without this special tool!

Sadly the manual does not llustrate this "special" tool, so it is probably going to be a hair pin or pair of tweezers.

Thanks for any help / suggestions.

Hi,

If you cannot get one in the next two weeks, I will bring one back from Chucks, when I am out there 4 his BBQ.

To disconnect, if you don't have the *special tool*...you can use two small screwdrivers on either side to push the white plastic collar in, (towards the transmission). The plastic ring pushes the internal retaining clips out of the way and allows you to then pull the line straight out. It is a 'dry' quick disconnect ie no fluid will spill and you should not need to bleed the clutch. Good luck.

Nad thanks for the tip. Jon B suggested a similar aqpproach or to use circlip pliers instead of screwdrivers.

Kind Regards,
