Browsing through a model shop in the Metro Centre yesterday I found one of the HPI Nissan Skyline Slot cars for £20, bargain bought I happily headed home to play with it. I also bought a new Sport powerbase with adaptors to power my old classic track/

Cue today back in lincoln I get all my classic track out the loft, rescue myy cars from the dust and then can't find the 16V transformer anywhere! I've had a loor round town and i can't get hold of one from anywhere.

However on the net I have seen reference to a 15V power supply, does anyone know if this can be used to power classic track, as I can get hold of one of these from maplins quite cheap??

Not sure it really matters, We have a mix of old and new track powered by the new type transformer. All the cars we have run fine.

It took a long time to clean the old track to get it to work though!
