Chaps, i need some help. What is the absolute hot sauce you've tried? Eye wateringly hot..

We have a lad at work who claims he doesn't flinch when eating spicy food. He claims to have done the ghost chilli eating challenge without any discomfort. A few of us at work really want to call his bluff and see if he is the man he claims to be! I've tried a few hot sauces such as the Iguana ultimate en Fuego sauce, i can comfortably use that as a condiment so it needs to be a LOT hotter than that...

Suggestions? Links? Willing to spend about £15 or so.
I have a bottle of Blair's Ultra Death which is 800k scoville units according to this scale.

http://www.scottrobertsweb.com/scoville-scale/

It's way too hot for me but a Fijian guy at work used it like ketchup over his lunch and barely gave a sniff. Some guys are just used to it.

Try something from CaJohns if you can find it

Dave's Insanity Sauce is about the limit of what I've tried. If you think he's telling porkie pies make him eat a teaspoon of that....
Yes something like this would do. Very very hot.
Please film it.

I've got a bottle of Dave's Insanity sauce, it's staggeringly hot. The funny thing about it is that it doesn't immediately seem as hot as naga sauces, but it builds steadily and burns a lot longer. We tried a bunch of these at work, from habanero sauces like Blair's After Death, a range of Naga sauces and Dave's Insanity. The Insanity sauce was consistently considered the hottest and had one lad crying uncontrollably when some caught the back of his throat, tears properly streaming down his face.

If your mate can eat a spoonful of that without showing any discomfort he should take up poker at a professional level.

The 'Da Bomb Beyond Insanity' in my pic above is meant to be incredibly hot. I picked it up for £3.99 at a local Homesense store (TK Maxx) but it is £8 on Amazon.

I haven't tried it yet and am a bit scared to having watched a few vids on youtube, but I to have mate who regularly complains nothing is ever hot enough, so he will be trying it when he comes round next.

A tiny drop on a skewer made this woman throw up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXDqhiiuwV0

i've tried a few of the Dave's sauces and the insanity is very very hot - no way could i try it neat.

but - their ghost pepper sauce is several steps up the heat ladder - i did a comparison between this and the insanity - a small amount with a cheese sandwich - 1 with each sauce. insanity gave my mouth a nice glow, but Ghost pepper made me sweat biggrin

I find TK Maxx a good place for unusual sauces. Picked up three more sauces today for next to nothing.

Bee Sting - reminds me of Linghams. Thick sweet sauce.
Smoky Iguana - So thick it didn't want to come out of the bottle. Similar to tabasco chipotle but a bit hotter.
Bull Snort "Fire in the hole" - Thin hot sauce. Decent flavour.

All are 'safe' sauces as in you won't ruin a meal if you put on too much (unlike a Dave's or Blairs).

Decided on a clearout and was left with the following :

The Blairs mini set is a good starter kit.

Was in a shop in Arizona last year browsing the sauce selection, very nearly bought a bottle of extract. Not sure i would have used it but for the sake of it.

A little tip for all you Insanity fans, try mixing half a teaspoon with a desertspoon of mayonnaise and have with chips (or anything that takes your fancy). Perks a fried-spud up no end and also quite good over a burger

I picked up a bottle of this from Byron Burger the other week to use as a daily, it's fairly light like a Tabasco but has a slightly more complex taste due to the blend of chillies used. It's no ring-burner, more of a light tongue tingler but it's a nice tasting one for general use.

Yup - can't beat Dave's - not many people could do a teaspoon of it.

On another note - the Bhut Jolokia Insanity sauce is lovely if you can get hold of some.

I had this http://chilli-shop.co.uk/chilli-shop-online/extrem... at 6.4million scollville it was rocket fuel I tried it on a lot of military guys but once they saw the victim before them they would wimp out. So to convince them to have a try I'd get a drop and have it. After about 4-5 drops I had some serious shakes biggrin sadly my bottle got finished but my dad purchased a bottle at the same time. I'm not home for another 3 weeks but I'm sure I could bottle a small amount up for you to call his bluff if we get a video. hehe

I've got some of this at the moment:

Nice enough flavour but no kick whatsoever. Even the bottle says you have to add Tabasco to it if you want heat - it does improve it though. It's got a nice flavour but none of the sweet, sharp vinegar of the proper Tabasco.

I've tried that (few posts back). Its very nice. Like you say, hardly any kick but a decent marinade.
