best speakers for Onkyo S-6305 receiver

Hi all,
recently bought an Onkyo S-6305 home cinema receiver with 5.1 speakers for £270 from Best Buy during the sales, finally got it up and running today using good quality midrange cables but was slightly disappointed with the four smaller speakers..the sub is fine but I'm now thinking of upgrading them..any suggestions as to a good brand and model?? I'm no tech meister as you can probably tell, but am prepared to spend a few hundred quid, was thinking Kef or Bose, any recommendations? Most use will just be Sky (non-HD) and the good ol Playstation 3 and I'm ashamed to say I probably won't be able to differentiate between amazing speakers and midrange ones so nowt too fancy

I have Tannoy hooked up to mine and for £200 I have no complaints

If you're contemplating going down the Bose route then take a look at these as an alternative. Bought three of them on Saturday and they sounmd great as well as being really unobtrusive - much cheaper than a Bose set up too.
