Tamiya M-05 "rat look" mini
Discussion
After spending the best part of 8 hours getting the body on my Tamiya Abarth 1000 looking respectable, I've decided that body is for show. The cost of a new one, and the thought of having to do re-do it is too much of a drain.
(shown with the little princesses pink mustang.)
So, a cheap mini body was ordered off the net as a "Banger" shell
Step one.
Spray Metallica scaryguy logo on inside of roof, roughly.
Paint all metallic peices dull silver.
Step two.
Mask Windows
Spray roof black.
Spray body rusty orange.
Detail shot of some "weathering" around the body post holes
Fashion a coat-hanger aerial
Still to do.
remove masking from windows
remove overspray film.
mask exterior windows
spray scary guy logo on roof in copper (overlay the white, but a tighter mask so it's more crisp)
spray exterior matt black
mount aerial
weather exterior paint so "rust" shows through.
updates to follow.
