Help needed! Need a Mamod supplier quick!

Hi All,
I'm trying to get a Mamod traction engine for my Fathers 70th birthday and need it by next Tuesday. I've been let down by three online "suppliers" now who pretend they have stock when they don't then are very poor at letting you know.

Looks like I may be driving somewhere to buy it old-school from a shop this weekend.

The model I'm after is the traction engine in kit form (the SR1AK), but would be happy to get one of the pre-built ones at this point (SR1a). Does anyone know of a shop with one in stock within say an hours drive of solihull in the midlands? Any leads welcome at this point!

I've got two in my Mother's loft which I was going to throw on eBay. But I can't get my hands on them until next Friday. And they're almost as old as a real traction engine.

I have but no answer. One of the online shops suggested that Mamod weren't back till the 10th (ie they only get the stock in to order )

model junction in bury st edmunds sell some of them , their website is a bit poop

might be worth a call if you want to drive that far
