any ideas on making a grille from scratch?

see the black grille on the lower right of the pic , any ideas for diy making one of those on the cheap ? cant afford any fancy gear

its got a reasonble flux....just that grille is a big molded blob with dimples where the slots go , a real piece would look nicer

Wine bottle foil cut and bent to shape?

its the holes that have me baffled ? and getting them all the same and inline if i figure out how to do it

Have you got a plunge router? Should be able to make the holes OK, but may need a bit of thought about knocking up a decent guide for it.

He didn't say what scale he's building to ..... a guide and frame to hold a dremmel might do the same job on a smaller scale.....
