It's not looking good, shame as it would be ideal to look at a few in one day.option click said:
The exhibitor list is embarrassing - IIRC only Pinarello and Cervelo are bothering.
No Specialized, Scott, Trek, Giant etc... so I'd say you're better off spending your day going to a couple of decent bike shops.
I think you are right, sad really as it would be nice for a change to go to one of these shows and for once actually want to buy something!!No Specialized, Scott, Trek, Giant etc... so I'd say you're better off spending your day going to a couple of decent bike shops.

I'm after a good all-rounder bike. Got into mountain biking back in April last year and entered the London to Brighton Off Road Challenge {78.5 miles}. I bought as GT avalanche HT which has been great and covered 1300 miles mostly off road.
I will be doing mostly trail stuff but will be going off to the mountains now and again.
Prob go for the Specialised Stumpjumper FSR Elite 2011, bit of a mouth full but it should do the job!!
the cycle show in october - which i appreciate is no help now! - is far better attended by the major manufacturers.
in my opinion, this is a pointless time for a bike show as the big names displayed their 2011 models at shows across the states as early as summer last year and some will have been on show at earls court in october so there is little value in them spending time and money to exhibit them again when the bikes are in the shops and they are working on 2012 bikes.
