OK,here's a couple of questions. How many of you guys/gals saw the (only)PH supported race car at the show? How many knew it was there? Apart from 1 person (Redexx)did anyone say they were from PH and introduce themselves to either me or Slinky?
Although there were lots and lots of people around the car all weekend we were hoping that PH'ers would be quite interested in the car as it's being documented on this very website.
Appreciate your thoughts..
ANDY.

That sounds weird Andy. I can only think that folk were really interested in seeing the car, perhaps a little shy of talking to you legends, and just wanted to see it. Don't feel bad about it, I'm sure they're at home now masturbating over it and following the thread as avidly.

My excuse is I'm on the other side of the planet, but had I been there I'd have been chewing your ear off.

As I say, weird, if I'm reading your post correctly.

I was there on the Friday and was all over the car even underneath it at one stage checking out the size of those rear wheels. Only saw one guy from Webster racing on the stand when I was there.

The car is a work in progress. Andy and the team are doing an awesome job and it will soon be like the drawings at the top of your post. This does take a lot of money and while he has great sponsers he is just a working class man.

Andy as i said in the other post i came to chew the fat but you'd gone to lunch frown
I will be at PVS along with Gareth and hopefully a whole load of us HSV V8ers biggrin

Keep up the good work. She's awesome mate bow

Hi Andy,

You were talking to a few people, but had a quick chat to one of your other guys on the stand. I was looking in the Santa Pod Hall for RV3, but knew you were there and found you on the PH Show.

That is an absolute beast, loved Red Victor One, and this looks a lot quicker just sitting on the stand, unfinished !!.

look forward to seeing it on the strip. Are you aiming for a meet this year to debut it at ?

Cheers.

BTW - What happened to Red Victor TWO ?

The attendance had been on the front page of PH, the build thread was referenced in the article, showing the car as a work in progress, I've been updating our facebook and twitter streams to remind people that the car was at the show, so I must admit, I was surprised by the small number of PH'ers that I saw on Saturday. I was on the stand talking to folk for 6 hours or more, yet I heard PH mentioned twice maybe, I fear that the orange spandex'd dolly birds on the Performance Direct stand opposite the WRE stand (and the Oakley design 458 with them) held more of a draw than the Victor..

It's a shame really, even though I'm involved in the project, I was surprised to see just how much progress has been made and the sheer quality of the fabrication and engineering work on the car. If you'd caught Andy or I at the show, you'd have seen that we are more than happy to talk about every aspect of the car, the effort that goes into building something like this and our intentions for the next few years.. I certainly spent almost every single minute of my time on the stand talking to "the public" about the project..

If you want to see the car in action or want to keep abreast of what's happening, there are a number of ways to do it..

Slinky as I mentioned earlier both you and Andy were deep in conversation when we visited. Did have a good look round though. Seat needs a bit more padding if you ask me.

A fair point chap, my offer still stands of a tour @ the track BTW..

The seat will be fully trimmed, Andy needs something comfy to sit on, especially after all the hours he spent at the show this weekend!

I think the man doth protest too much. The only car I have followed as much as yours is Steve Green's red Mk1 cortina that then chnaged into the blue John Wolf version. I am a huge Mk1 fan and have owned 3.
