yes they were.

I've see an 850 saloon with a rotrex charger before.

Great project , as Y2blade said fast Volvos rule !

Are the benefits that actually warrant Supercharging an engine that's designed to take a turbo worth it ? If not who cares it's stilll uber cool ! cool

I don't think the M45 would be up to that without some modifications

Interesting project OP, it'll be interesting to watch it progress... I particularly like the subtle bonnet venting..

Not going to be as subtle in the future I'm afraid.
I'v now got all the pipe fittings I need, so did a bit of plumbing today,

So, I'v decided what look I'm going for with the bonnet

This was a Pulsar type vent which I'v cut about an inch off the hight and got rid of the front bit, I may go lower yet.

I love this, a twincharged 850.

You sir, are a complete fking idiot! wink
I commend you and your stupidity and will be paying close attention to how this pans out.

Could you just let me know what tyres you will be buying so i can invest now.

I beleive that Linglong are quite hard wearing, but i think you have to give them a weeks notice in triplicate if you want to go round a corner. smile

This is what this site is all about. No bickering over which car has the most mpg for a given weather system, or slagging off someone's prefered choice of footwear, or throwing red bull mx5 mixers at mapped 335d's. Just mad, mad people doing mad, mad things to make cars go faster. 'Speed Matters'... says it on the front page.

Love it.

And fast Volvos do indeed rock. Unfortunately mine is not fast at all, and only rocks cause the shocks are dead biggrin

PS What about a vent from a Vauxhall Monterey/Isuzu Trooper? Goes with the boxy shape of the Ovlov. Would link here but the google IMG addy is huuuuge.

I have to agree that you're a blanket short of a picnic.

But my God, that's brilliant, it's not as if they're sluggish cars to being with is it!?! smile
