If it had a bodykit, then it belongs to a guy called Steve (from Ferndown??) who was up at Sea View yesterday before Classics on the Prom. There were 7 Vettes up there yesterday including zr368 and te51cle who came down from Boringstoke.

Must try and pop along one Sunday .... I was at Swanage for the Charties day car display Sunday ... very nice '59 Caddy Coupe de Ville was the star of the show.

I assume you guys are going to be at Quay for my car, Poole Quay which starts again in May - 4th Friday of each month - New Theme night - Can/Am - Canadian American cars.

I was at Classics on the Prom yesterday and the car in question was probably the 1968 metallic big block. I know the bloke who owns it but not his name, he used to have a 77/78 coupe, and yes that car sounds fantastic.

Okay ... Poole Quay - the event is called Quay for my Car:

If you are visiting Poole between the months of May and August, Friday evenings herald the return of "Quay for my Car" on Poole Quay, kicking off at 6pm.

"Quay for my Car", in conjunction with the Daily Echo, promises to produce a wonderful show of cars, or perhaps you want to show your own car ! The Daily Echo has joined forces with Poole Tourism to create the event from May to August that will see gatherings on Poole Quay of the following cars :

1st Friday of each month - Red Open Top Sports Cars

2nd Friday of each month - Mini Mania, both old & new !

3rd Friday of each month - Beetle Mania, both old & new !

4th Friday of each month - New Theme night - Can/Am - Canadian American cars

5th Friday of each month - Audi TT

Also every Tuesday night is bike night (called 'Dream machines') on the Quay - 1000 plus bikes.
