Had a mk1 v-max for a very short time, thoroughly entertaining on the move but not much fun and can be quite a workout on tight turns or slow manouvers, would be good for sunday run tho. more modern musclebikes im sure are a bit more user friendly.

super cool on the straights lol

That would be my choice, though I haven't yet had a go on one. I would have one just for the sound as they are not the prettiest things to look at...and I have no clue how they are to ride.

Grin inducing, in a big way. I found it impossible to keep a constant speed as I had to keep rolling off the throttle to hear the Akras crackle and pop, then wind it on again to feel it try and rip my arms out of their sockets. Even if you have no intention of buying one have a go for a laugh.

Saw the Diavel last week in Italy... thought it was ugly in pictures and was even worse for real. And it's far too pricey. An Italian colleague of mine who rides a lovely StreetFighter said he's ashamed that's coming out of Italy. hehe (but that could just be him)

MT-01, again too expensive, and 'styling' looks a mess!

No, I'm really set on the old style muscle bikes.

I have a CB1300 SA9, I cant tell you enough how much I LOVE IT. First bike I Named in 30 years of riding. I bought a '61 Reg last Sept '13 with 1850 miles on it and never looked back. Its easy to ride, easy to work on and very forgiving IF you manage to over cook yourself a bit. Take one for a ride, you'll buy it. Honda did the CB1300's a big Disserevice by putting Dunlpos on it though, get some BT023-GT's with the purchase and you wont regret it. I prefer the White/Red Faired version 'cos the Details really poke out at you but its a choice you should consider. They look the Mutts with that Honking nose up front. I see Black ones all the time and they just look like big lumps. A lot of people will look at my White/Red one and show some respect or appeciation for it.

They are all good bikes, I would have any of them. If you fancy something a little bit different, what about a Yamaha BT1100 Bulldog. I am considering one of these for myself at the moment.

I keep coming back to the GSX1400 as a bike I want to own soon. My mates laugh and tell me it will handle terribly, but its naked, has a massive engine and looks so cool.

ZRX1200R. Great bike.

Took mine for a tour of the south of scotland and northumberland with a mate on his GSXR750. Loved it. Absolutely lovely machine and good at everything except riding above 8/10ths and fast dual carriageways due to windblast. But for A/B roads it was great.

I love them!

I have owned a Kawasaki ZRX1100-C3 and a Honda CB1300-A5 ABS

I prefered the rawness of the Kawasaki much more! It was a really great bike, only made better if I'd gone for the 1200 instead.

Honda was good, powerful but just too good and not very exciting.

Fuel, Kawasaki was tuned a little, some ZZR1100 bits and different exhaust so around 120 miles to a tank..

Honda, standard other than loud pipe, 160 miles to a full tank.

I'd be slightly concerned about the Suzuki/Kawasaki for all weather use, but if I was to get another muscle bike as a second bike, I'd be looking for another ZRX1100/1200.

They handle fine for my skills. Ask the northern rideout lot how badly they handle, mine seems to keep slow people like Yazza behind ok wink

Also - I'm not convinced that JBL, a 4/5ths scale human, would look good on a GSX1400, a 6/5ths scale bike.
