Just been left a 1960 Morris Minor Traveller with 55k miles on the clock which is in need of some TLC!

It runs, but needed transporting due to the distance it was being transferred. Taxing it was a pleasure! smile

I see you got the AA to do it for you. What did you do, push it down the road then call AA Relay hehe

VPR - I've seen your car before, must have been on Z-Club. Still trying to decide if I should put flares on mine, could do with extra tyre but I'm dreading getting the grinder out and digging it into my perfect rust free arches.

Black C5 - Very Nice, but need more photos

Iplod999 - Very Nice, 309 was my first car, just a pity it wasn't a GTI.

Yeah....I understand that. My car is 100% rust free and still retains the spot welds around the arches. Not an easy decision.

Your car looks good...I was tempted to hone the widest wheels possible under the std arches and lower.....It's a good look you have there.

tinkering is a wonderful phrase for owners of old cars, I can spend hours in the shed just waving spanners at the E Type and it rarely gets offended.

I quite like this one, althought not sure about their classic status.

It's the best thing about them IMO. My TR6 rarely needs it but my urQuattro (not you obviously) has loads of potential for tinkering.

ha ha, the RS2 was kept by me and regretfully the ur quattro sold to heathens. dont fiddle much with the RS2 just keep an eye on it, and polish the porsche castings once in a while.

Thanks, I also think it looks great how it is, hence why I've not added flares yet and to be honest I'm not sure I want to, however I'm running 550hp on full boost so it may be a necessity unfortunately.

If I go custom wheels I can fit max 235's on the rear with stock arches, not much improvement over the 225s. If I go flared and stay 16" I can run watanabe R types and use 245's but even this is not that wide, however to go wider means going 17" and getting custom wheels, while I've found some lovely custom wheels I'm not sure any suit the car as well as the watanabe style wheels.

Will need to do lots of driving when I get the car out again and see what traction is like, if its not bad then I'll keep it how it is.

Had the tweaked picture of our Alfa Spider by the Eiffel Tower I took in July put onto canvas c/o my pal Fraser.

Love it. The TV is 48" to help give you an idea of scale biggrin

Classics are for driving. The route from South Wales to Cannes & back via the Route Napolean was excellent.
