Outlook express with multiple email accounts

I have a friend who is currently using AOL, so they have one login to win xp then multiple AOL logins to pick up email etc. They are about to switch over to BT with a home hub and have asked me to set it up for them.
I've never used the BT service before, but I assume it will use outlook express for email . If this is the case how can I replicate the AOL functionality. I know I can have multiple email accounts in outlook but they all drop into the one inbox. I dont recall there being any way of a specific user logging in to outlook and getting just their email.
In the past when I have done something like this each user has had their own XP account, but in this case its just one XP user account and I would like to avoid setting up multiple XP users if possible
Or do BT provide some software for email that does this ? Or should they be looking at an alternative email client ?
