The Boat That Guy Built
Discussion
Starts next wednesday, 7.30pm on BBC1.
Guy Martin, Isle of Man TT rider, will be presenting a show about British engineering and trying to include as much of it in a Narrow Boat as possible.
Anyone who has seen coverage of the TT races over recent years will know that Guy is a proper petrol head. I think it will be a good show.
Shall we have a sweepstake on how many cups of tea he has per show?

Saw an ad for this last night and was intending to come on here and post about it - pleased to see I was beaten to it.
This sounds like a recipe for some very entertaining tele.
There is a short clip of the first show on the bbc's website(i think), looks like it is going to be really really goodThis sounds like a recipe for some very entertaining tele.
I get the feeling (or maybe it's just me hoping this) that the BBC are looking for a replacement Fred Dibnah.
Someone who understands how things work, is good in front of the camera, is not afraid to get his hands dirty and is a bit "different".
He is a weirdo though, he has a Lister stationary engine.
