Stumbled across this this little gem whilst strawberry picking in darkest Essex.
It's not mine, but being at the mercy of the tide, then having to navigate that narrow channel is a problem I'd love to have.
I'm not usually genuinely envious of others but I'll make an exception in this case.

This is mine biggrin 30hp, 3.5mph top speed unless going downstream. It's my home and I love it smile

If I lived in the UK, that's the very boat to live on. Just the right size, very manageable.
It's 44ft so very easy to manage yes, ideally another 3ft would be nice though as storage is a bit tight.

Not that I noticed, sorry.
It did have a nice Fairey pennant hoisted, I'd imagine they're in the club.....

Have you thought about getting a shed?

Thank you.

I'm the club Commodore...yes, its a club member. I checked with the oracles of such things, that's the only surviving H28 that we know of for which we are unable to identify the hull number.

After what seemed to be the longest service ever,

Note to boatowners:-

Boats can be serviced at any time of year, not just when it's all warm and sunny.

Do NOT phone up and expect to get serviced, antifouled and launched all at the exact same time as 1000 other owners who have forgotten they have a boat until it's sunny.

Even the parts suppliers run out of filters/belts/anodes/paint this time of year.

biggrinbiggrin

Nice boat, what motor are you running?

I probably don't have right to post here but as "boat" describes everything from a single person kayak to a container ship, thought id post a few exploits from yesterday.

Went across salcombe in our little inflatable kayak to a little cove only accessible by water if the tide is in. If you didn't know where you were, it couldve been in the med!

We had the whole beach to ourselves all day

Getting back across to the other side was a bit of effort as we were going against the tide. Overall great day!

She came out the water in March 2nd wk,
I always service her the same time every year, seems I'm no longer,
one of the few who do this job early in the year.

Thanks

MPI 5.0 V8 300hp, Looking for a bit more space for next year.
