C70 rear windows

OK, I might be blind/stupid but:

I have just bought a 2000Y C70, and I love it! All the windows work, but the rear windows will not work from the rear switches.

Is there a child lock of some sort? The handbook does not help and Google gives me no answers.

I may have this wrong, (but I had the soft top on a 51 plate). It might be that you need to give a quick flick of both rear switches from the from master driver unit simultaneously with ignition on. I think there used to be a little light that went on or off to show locked or not.
