Missus needs new fronts ASAP and I am struggling to get the Dunlops she currently has fitted.

Rears (as usual) have stack loads of tread, so I am planning on dropping some run-flat Bridgestones on the front.

I don't particularly want to change all to non-run flats right now, so would Bridgestones on the front and Dunlops on the rear be OK?

Advice appreciated as at these prices I don't particularly want to go changing them again in a few weeks!

Cheers,

Jon.

providing your living in the UK with a registered car in the UK you are fine to mix and match your tyres.

If you are running run flats it wont matter, best to just get normal tread as 4 tyres will cost the same as 2 new treads and you can sell the two good tyres off the rear on the bay which will bring about £80 - £100

Non run flat Toyos (T1-Rs) looked good value when I looked a couple of weeks ago.

As long as the tyres are the same on each 'axle' i cant see that being an issue - we have Continentals on the front and Bridgestones on the back (all rft's) and it is fine...
