Mega Python v Gateroid - Wow. Just wow. So. bad.

The "actress"/singer Tiffany is also in it. One of the exchange of lines between her and the singer Debbie Gibson was this:

"I think we're alone now"
"There doesn't seem to be anyone around"

I turned over at that
I love all of these, yes they're awful but great fun.

Need For Speed 4/10 just couldnt simpithise with the main character, the guy drove around like a massive prick, got greedy with money, got his mate killed in said bet, went to prison, got out, then continued to drive like a prick and went to prison. wow great plot there! I only gave it a 4 for some of the stunning cars.

The World's End. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Absolutely awful film. Barely raised a snigger. Infantile and insulting in its banality. Shaun of the Dead was miles better.

I quite enjoyed it, but that might be because from the opening scene onwards I was identifying places that I know. I had lived in Welwn Garden City for many years and went into the film without realising that that was where many of the locations were filmed, with Letchworth providing the rest.
But as a comedy, no, it was not in the same league as Shaun of the dead

Prometheus - I know this has been done to death but I thought it really can't be that bad.
I was wrong.
It can be that bad.

It was no one thing but it was a series of little annoyances and that was while I was watching it. I'm sure I will get more annoyed by stuff as the week goes on and I think on it.

4/10

My main issue with Prometheus was the sheer stupidity of the characters. Most of them doctors and supposedly best in their fields. Horror movie characters are usually pretty dumb but Prometheus took it to the next level.

Quite. Any film where you spend most of it with your mouth agape thinking "why would anyone with an ounce of common sense DO that???" has to be doing something wrong.

Lucy. I wasn't expecting much but it was a lot worse than I suspected. I can't even be bothered to write a long list of bad points about it.

I agree. I spend most of my time thinking "Do you have no safety protocols in place?"

Why do they always run in a straight line?

Many terabytes of the Internet have been consumed by essays on the shortcomings of Prometheus, including a long running thread on this very site. And every word of it is justified.
Such a waste of talent and money.

..And so many still defended this crap!

Two of the worst films I have seen in a while were both Ridley Scott - this dirge and The Counsellor.

Prometheus was a great opener to the trilogy, come at me hehe

As an aside, darkhorse have been releasing their 4 part mini series(es) for Prometheus/Aliens/Predator/AVP which ties in with the film should you want to explore the story more

Thanks, but, as Chevy Chase once said, I'd rather sew my face to the carpet.

Is he gay? or is there a meaning of tt I'm not aware of?

I rate his attempts at acting as about as good as as the attempts to be funny by that moron from 'the office' who is as funny as being kicked in the balls.
