Terrible, terrible film but at least it knows it is and Amber Heard eases the pain. smile

WTF! Watched the first 30/35 minutes before turning it off and just thought whist being a bit bizarre and having ridiculously fast subtitles it was a case of lets be mental for the sake of shock value. I just found it fking weird and not in a good way. I quite like the Japanese/Chinese martial arts films but this was just awful.
loved that film.

8/10 for me.

Just saw Dumb and Dumber To, don't waste your time, it was god awful. Seriously terrible. The only part I laughed once at in the entire film was when the passenger set off a fire cracker I guess it was and Lloyd and Harry get out of the car and Lloyd says something like "I think we've just been abducted by aliens!" and they look behind them and the car with the passenger is gone LOL Other than that it sucked monkey tt.

Also, not a film, but I didn't want to start an entirely new thread to say that Family Guy sucks with each new episode they put out. Peter is just too dumb, its annoying and too elementary at times. American Dad used to be my favorite show, for years it was, now it too sucks as well. All the jokes on both shows seem... I don't know what word I am looking for, but its just not funny anymore. South Park it seems is the only show that still consistently puts out amusing episodes. Mcfarlane and his team is losing their edge. South Park's creators are pure genius!

The latest family guy is better but American dad is a lot better than family guy. Peter is, you're right, incredibly annoying...

Its true, i always found American Dad to be better than Family Guy. Have you seen Rick and Morty? That is my new favorite, its hysterical and greenlighted for a second season. If you havent seen it I would recommend watching the episode entitled Meeseeks and Destroy. Wayyyy better than anything currently on for animation IMO.

Not heard of that but I'll look it up - I can recommend Robot Chicken too. Utterly surreal.

On topic. My six year old watched Nativity 3 and it was so bad, she cried.

Actually cried.

I think you may have summed up Luc Besson's entire back catalogue.

But I still love 'em.

Ahem, Nikita and Leon??

And I have a soft spot for the The Fifth Element too, so many stunning touches, they more than make up for Chris Tucker.

I was being facetious (as usual). Leon is an outstandingly good film.

Inglorious Barstewards; stuck it in the DVD player, poured a couple of glasses of red, watched the first bit then just talked over the rest of it.
Coming after recent films like Pierrepoint, Pride and The Imitation Game it was just a bit pants really.

Monsters University - Dull and not funny, didn't laugh once, and I love Monsters Inc

RIPD - Stopped watching after it got to the inevitable explosions/chase 3rd act bit, not good at all.

Reminds me of a pretty awful joke by someone like Frankie Boyle.

"My wife caught me wking off to a Natalie Portman film. She said she wouldn't have minded so much only it was Leon".

eek

The latest Transformers film. Sat down with the kids last night to watch. Holy mother of God. What a pile of tripe. Even the kids were laughing out loud at its awfulness.

Michael Bay has made yet another Transformers film too, just with Ninja Turtles instead of robots.
