Been looking at one of these in black, brand new for less than £1000 with straight handlebars. I am not a name person just looks very good for commuting. Any comments before I commit? Thanks.

In my very subjective and personal opinion, car and bike brands do not mix well.

The idea of a Ferrari cruiser bike with a chainguard fills me with horror.

There are lots of better bikes for less than £1000.

Looks like your paying about £100 for the bike and the rest for the 'brand'

IMO

The page I am seeing when I click that link is showing a bike priced at £2609?

Price says £2609.14 (including vat and shipping) not including lobotomy!

+1

Especially when it looks dreadful and weighs a ton!

As a rule avoid any Car Company bikes like the plague.

There are better bikes for a grand, unless you've got the matching Car and you're only riding it around the race / track day paddock you'll look a plonker, and even then....

Wiggle were selling Charge Dusters for £800 recently (they still might be) it's techically a mountain bike but only a set of slicks away from a Hybrid really. Flat bars, hydro brakes with a nice smooth 100m suspension fork and ultra reliable 8 speed shimano hub.

Exceptions to every rule... there's a certain Honda I'd like to own, if only they hadn't crushed all the complete ones.

There might be a stolen one out there somewhere, but being at the box is missing it's pretty much useless.

As echoed above, bike/car tie ins are usually pants.

That bike as above would most likely retail at about £499 full price in the normal bike shops unbranded.

Sounds like there is some reasonably interesting tech in that.. but you'd feel like a complete and utter arse riding around on a bike with Ferrari branding all over it! No thanks!
