As a 1/43 scale road car collector i`m fortunate enough to have purchased exact replicas of most of the cars i have owned. I have got a Red mini-champs XR3i with white wheel covers, and a Black Vanguard/Corgi XR3 with cloverleaf wheels, i want to swap wheels, but don`t know how the latest models come apart. I have stripped cars down before to repaint or swap bits around,Minichamps have little screws, but the Vanguard one has me stumped, no obvious screws or clips, any ideas???

Normally the spare wheel hump at the rear and the sump at the front are separate plastic pieces that clip in and out. Clip it out and it reveals a screw at each end.

My auntie owned a red XR3 convertible with Clovers, had a Hella foglight grill too. B994 VDE if you care to know. I searched it, funnily enough, last night, and its tax expired in 2007, so had a good run from when she sold it in the early 90's.
