Horsham Piazza Italia is in its fifth year. Last year there were 84 Ferraris on the Good Friday and more have booked in this year from across the South of England with the Sussex FOC including up to 5 458s and an Enzo. The De Tomaso Owners club are co-ordinating the Super cars for the Monday with around 20 expected plus Alfas and Fiat Coupes.

Drivers information and further event details are available online from www. piazza-italia.co.uk

Rumours of something very special for Monday as well...in addition to the Lambos, De Tomasos, and Maseratis.

Haha, there were quite a lot of them yesterday!

Am I right that it was you who spotted me down here before? If so you'll probably know exactly where my car is haha.

A quick spin to Horsham revealed the mystery treat and star car of the event as being the yellow F599 GTO. Keeping it company were the Pagani Zonda and Lamborghini Murcielago SV amongst other modern and classic Italians. A beautiful metallic blue Iso Grifo had a few onlookers scratching their heads wondering what it was. This year a Plymouth Prowler, a classic 911 and natty TVR Sagaris added a non Italian element.

I found it funny that the non petrol head friends I was with all started salivating over the Prowler, probably the slowest car there (ignoring the classics)

Friday - Good
Monday - Bad

Yesterday was not worth the trip from the event point of view.

How many cars were there yesterday? As the supercar day always attracts less cars than the Ferrari day
