Interesting that you've gone for full Ultegra but the £15 pedals - let me know how you get on with them, I'm wondering whether they're a bargain or it's worth spending the £80 on XT or XTR ones?
Those were just a spare pair that I had when I got the bike, TBH.

I'm still deciding what pedals I would like to put on it.

So you've already been using them? Any good?

Well that set have done about 12,000 miles and I haven't experienced any problems with them.

My wife has a set of XTR pedals on her Felt. TBH, when I ride her bike, I haven't noticed any difference in how they feel. Which is partly why I'm still making my mind up as to whether it's worth spending the extra money, and if I do, should I go for a set of SPD-SL's and then have to chenge my cleats too?

And shoes. And then you can't walk in them.

I'm definitely sticking with "normal" SPDs. Then I can use them on my mountain bike as well the roadie. I was just wondering about a smaller platform for the roadie - I have "trail" pedals on the mtb and hybrid.

One of these in Evans sale to match my bib shorts and jacket.

And one of these so I can swap my bag between bikes.

Anyone looking to buy any Shimano kit?

CRC and Ribble have a 10% off offer on all shimano purchases. I took advantage and ordered a set of Ultegra pedals, Ultegra wheels and 6700 brakes. The 10% off deal meant the wheels came in at £210, which is a real bargain. 1600g and look lovely too smile

These items will be going on my new Cannondale SuperSix. Haven't ordered it yet. Just waiting on my refund from Planet X. As soon as that goes through, I shall be taking the plunge smile

Halfords are great at putting these silly prices on the website, only problem is out of the 20 or so stores in my area they are never available and I would need to travel 120 mile round trip to collect...Halfrauds right enoughrolleyes
