The blue lifeline ones from wiggle are meant to be very very good. And they cost peanuts.
Never come across those before, just had a look and they seem to get great reviews so I will give them a go when the cork ones wear out.

Bought a cheapo Tiagra outer chainring to temporarily replace my No-Q which got bent in transit. Loosing 2 teeth, but I can't afford to stump up the crazy cost of another Rotor ring right now.

Got delivered today some Shimano MT34 Mtb shoes with SPD for my new road bike.

Unfortunately the road bike didn't appear in the post with them!

Wasn't sure if they were the right shoes to get for a road bike but I wanted a do it all shoe as I'm gonna get a mtb later in the year.

Don't look great to be fair but then again neither do I whilst sporting lycra....so fk it, they'll do. biggrin

Fantastic rims - anodizing can be removed by looking at it in a quizzical fashion however, let alone braking on it.

Just received this:

Great top, looks really nice but as with the last 3 tops I bought and sent back from various manufacturers, why is it so bloody short???? I'm new to the lycra malarkey and the last thing I want is all the focus to be on the crotchular region. It's so thin and lightweight another inch on the length would bunch or anything. Really annoys me. I'm hardly non-cycling in build: 6'1", 37" chest, 71kg and if anything, longer in leg than torso. Grrrrrr.

I've just sent a dhb to back for being crazily short - it barely got down to my belly button! I've found a number of the comments in Wiggle's reviews mention dhb tops coming up short in length - perhaps it's their cut?

I've a Morvelo jersey which I'm particularly happy with (ordered large for 5'9" 12 stone, 38" chest) - the length on that is spot on smile

I have a two pairs of Shimano shoes (Road and MTB) and I think they have covered approximately 9k between them and they are brilliant. Neither of which look that exciting, but they are both comfy and well made. I tried the cheaper DHB shoes from Wiggle and found the sizing to be really odd and the build quality was pretty poor. They went back sharpish!

Just received this:

That is a good looking jersey. If they removed the dots, it would be quite rapha esque smile

I also got a GT grade carbon as I wanted discs and ability to go off on less than normal roads when out for a ride. Got mine from Wiggle as they do a very good discount.

I wasn't, then I rode too many bikes with them and realised it had to be done, they are utterly brilliant.

Well after visiting the seller and inspecting the goods a deal has been done for this 2014 SL4 S-Works Tarmac.

Should hopefully be picking it up after the BH weekend.

Okgo has been providing sage advice on groupsets, with Di2 Ultegra looking like the most likely candidate! Pics on the other thread when built up.
