got the chain whip and cassette tool, will be swapping the wheel over tonight.

Oh, we finally figured out what the model number the busted freehub is, a replacement will be bought and it can be a spare wheel.

Nothing too exciting; a cage and bottle to try and match my frame (not a 100% success!)

..and since I'm firmly now in Presta territory, a new combined pump/CO2 inflator. Very neat, I do wonder how well it'll actually work though.

Always nice to come home to a Wiggle box and some Haribo though smile

Love coming home to a huge parcel of goodies... In this case a Shimano 105 Groupset to replace the Sora bits on my cheapy carbon bike, which are then going onto my commuting bike...

Ow, son! "Don't Blame The Chain", "It's Time To Make A Change", "By Any Means Necessary".

...and that jersey certainly looks big, bold, and bright! wink

Good to hear, seem to have good reviews and feel pretty solid. Probably swap them over come autumn

I bought two rusty Halfords mountain bikes for £25 off ebay. They are for me and my girlfriend to ride and leave at the station. I think I'd have to pay someone to steal them!

EDIT: I'm just going to add that I have bought x2 £1 locks from poundland!

Ahhh...the new RT-80/90. Which one is that? I'm interested to see how you get on with it. I know its a Viner, but its basically a Planet X RT-80 or 90 with different paint and name. Some of the Viner paint schemes are nicer than the Planet X ones smile

I've not bought anything for a while. Tried to get a used Gore jersey on Ebay recently and stopped bidding when it went over £38. They are over £100 new and decent colours and the more common sizes are never in the sales frown

Heading back to the UK for a short holiday in 2 weeks and so thanks to this thread and the discount code thread I have ordered over the last week (all being delivered to my parents house in the UK):

1) Merlin: new bib shorts, top and gloves
2) Wiggle: riding glasses, Zero 5 tablets, spare cleats, bar tape
3) Amazon: Garmin Edge 500 mounts, cadence measurer (not sure of the technical term)

Not sure the wife will be happy when we get to my parents and she finds the large pile of cycle clothing and other amazon orders......

Still could be worse, we are ordering our cycle team clothing soon so that will be another couple of shorts / tops....

Its the same as the RT-90, I was going to get the RT-90 but preferred the paint of the viner, also its a bit different, I had a Planet X pro carbon before. only done 3 rides on it so far, but its deffinatly stiffer, seems slightly faster on a TT course compared to the planet x, much lower at the front too. over all I am pleased with it, paint work isn't amazing but then when you compare the frame weight etc compared to other frames of nearly double the cost, im not overly fussed.

I've had a pretty decent week for getting stuff:

Stealth black Charge Spoon - the Vitus branded saddle which came with my bike actually looked very similar in construction, but is heavier - probably out of the same factory.

ODI rogue grips

Most importantly - a small first aid kit after realising how poorly equipped I was when my friend smashed his face after going OTB the other week.

Also some Muc Off lube/bike cleaner etc.

Treated myself to some new wheels yesterday, collected the bike from the LBS who fitted them for me ( they also changed the brake pads and serviced the bike) but upon lifting the bike out of the car at home I noticed the brand new rear tyre has a couple of cuts in it with one showing the tube through it frown

Not impressed, haven't even turned a pedal on it yet frown
