They're touching £49k now, with the new 911 (998) being announced in September do you think these will be £40k anytime soon?

Most of them are well above that. Turbo will be one of the later models to appear in the new range, so I expect prices to drift down at current rate for a while yet.

Well with 108 (give or take the odd 996 turbo) in the classifieds there's no shortage!

I don't know the sales figures but the Tip has always been very common on these (it is faster to launch and new ones were often bought by City boys for commuting etc.) so the benchmark used example will most likely be a Tip..

Do people expect the prices to start to slide as we hit winter and the 991 is introduced?

supermono said: ukwill said: Slushbox pushes that price down The faster tiptronics are more expensive then their manual counterparts based on the OPC network. £60k has been the cheaperst tips available for a very long time. There is now one at under £57k and another one that went for £55k which had galactic miles. Wasn't this thread 'The £45K Turbo';)

Staggering value for the performance on offer.
You have got me looking at them now! I hate the standard blingy wheels but hey, that can be sorted.

Only about 120 996 GT2s in UK total. Bit more scarce than 996TT.
